Terms of service
Last updated: 24 September 2026
1. Who these terms are with
This website and the sandbox are operated by The Bridging Platform Ltd("we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales, company number 16606679, registered office 5 Haslemere Avenue, Hale Barns, Altrincham, England, WA15 0AU. By visiting this website or creating a sandbox account, you ("you", either personally or on behalf of an organisation) agree to these terms.
If your organisation licenses a live account on the platform, that use is governed by the separate agreement your organisation has signed with us (an Order Form, Master Services Agreement, or similar), which takes priority over these terms for anything it covers. These terms otherwise apply to this website and to any sandbox account.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to use this website or create a sandbox account. If you're doing so on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
3. The sandbox
- The sandbox is provided free of charge, for evaluation purposes only.
- It's pre-populated with sample data and is not suitable for real customer, applicant, borrower or loan data — don't enter anyone's real personal data into it beyond your own.
- We may reset, suspend or remove a sandbox account at any time, without notice, and without liability to you.
- A sandbox account has no service level commitment and no guarantee of availability, unlike a licensed live account under its own agreement.
- We may limit how many sandbox accounts a person or organisation can create.
4. Your account and access
You're responsible for keeping any credentials or access links to your sandbox account confidential, and for all activity that happens under it. Tell us straight away if you think your access has been compromised.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:
- access, or try to access, another organisation's data or account without authorisation;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of this website, the sandbox, or the platform, except where we've agreed to that in writing (for example, under a responsible disclosure or penetration testing arrangement);
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform, except to the extent applicable law makes this restriction unenforceable;
- scrape, crawl or systematically extract data from this website or the platform other than through features we've provided for that purpose;
- upload or submit anything unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that contains malicious code;
- use the sandbox to build a competing product, or for any purpose other than evaluating the platform in good faith;
- misuse any AI-assisted feature — for example, submitting content you don't have the right to share, or attempting to use it to generate unlawful content; or
- interfere with or disrupt the website, the sandbox, or any other user's use of them, including by overloading our infrastructure.
6. Intellectual property
This website, the platform, and their content — including the software, design, text and The Bridging Platform name and logo — are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you. You may use the sandbox to evaluate the platform, but you get no licence to copy, resell, sublicense or otherwise exploit it beyond that.
Any feedback you give us about the website, the sandbox or the platform may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you.
7. Third-party services
The sandbox and platform may rely on or integrate with third-party services (for example, hosting, email delivery, or an AI provider — see the Privacy policy). We're not responsible for those services' own availability or performance, though we choose our providers with reasonable care.
8. Disclaimers
This website and the sandbox are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the website or sandbox will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every possible threat. Nothing in this section limits any warranty we can't lawfully exclude, or excludes commitments made to your organisation in a separate licence agreement for a live account.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that can't lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, because the sandbox and this website are provided free of charge for evaluation purposes, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of them, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit or business, to the fullest extent the law allows. Liability arising from a licensed live account is governed by your organisation's own agreement with us instead.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of this website or the sandbox, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to this website or a sandbox account at any time, for any reason, including where we reasonably believe you've breached these terms. You may stop using the sandbox at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 6, 8, 9 and 10) continue to apply.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example as the website or sandbox changes. The version on this page is always the current one; continuing to use the website or sandbox after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your own country of residence.
14. General
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
- Our failure to enforce any part of these terms isn't a waiver of our right to do so later.
- You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may assign ours, including in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- These terms, together with our Privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding this website and the sandbox.
